We are running a fall membership drive through 5 pm on October 31.  We are hoping to create a larger membership base to drive awareness for all of the events and work that the PTA does for Twin Lakes.  We are looking to have a larger pool of volunteers to help with our events and spreading the message of the good that the Twin Lakes PTA does for Twin Lakes and the community.

Your PTA Membership helps PTA Funded Events like:

• The Color Run

• Fall Festival

• Back to School BBQ

• Starstruck

There are 3 competitions

• Individual Classroom - Each class competes against itself

  • If the class has 60% memberships, they will win an Otter Pop party

• Grade Level - Individual classrooms will compete against other classes in their grade level 

  • TK competes with Kinder and the K/1 Combo competes with 1st

  • Minimum of 5 memberships in a class to qualify

  • Class with the highest percentage of memberships for the grade will win an ice cream party

• School Wide - All classrooms compete against each other

  • Minimum of 5 memberships in a class to qualify

  • Class with highest percentage of memberships school wide will win a pizza party

• Competitions run from July 1st through 5 pm October 31st

• Minimum of 5 memberships in a class to qualify for the competition

• Student and Grandparent memberships count as well.  In the event of a tie, the classroom with the highest aggregate student and grandparent memberships will win.

• Entries will be counted by adding up the memberships that have identified the classroom associated with their children in the TOTEM membership portal.

• Memberships with multiple kids count for EACH individual classroom associated with a child.

  • Example: One paid membership has 3 children attending Twin Lakes, and has identified 3 classrooms for their children.  Each classroom will get credit for 1 membership.

• A single membership with more than one child assigned to a single classroom will get 1 credit for each child assigned to that classroom (ex. twins in the same class will each get 1 credit for that class).

In order to have your membership count towards your child's classroom, you MUST add your student to your membership and assign a classroom.  The following are instructions on how to do this.

Once someone has joined TOTEM, they can add/update their student's assigned grade and teacher.  This can be done under the membership portal in TOTEM - Join Twin Lakes PTA

If you are a returning PTA member, update your student's information from the previous year by clicking the "Action" drop down next to your student and selecting "View/Edit" to update their information to the current year.  You can also "Remove/Archive" if they no longer are a student at Twin Lakes.
